Every Wednesday from 4 June to 17 September, shops and attractions will be opening late, bars and restaurants will be offering special deals, and there will be live music and street performances across the city centre.

Sheffield has been nominated by Arts Council England to compete for the title of ‘Most Musical City’.
With a rich musical heritage ranging from The Long Blondes to the Human League and Arctic Monkeys to Warp Records – The Steel City has won the nomination for Yorkshire. The campaign to find the Most Musical City was launched by the Arts Council’s ‘Take it away’ scheme which makes musical instruments affordable and accessible for all.
