Sheffield has been chosen to be one of 12 cities to be included in the England World Cup 2018 bid! Sheffield’s bid included both grounds at Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United. However, in announcing Sheffield, England 2018 have also selected the Sheffield Wednesday Football Stadium as their preferred venue to host games in the city.
