The Creativesheffield CDI Directory is offered for information sharing purposes only, to facilitate connections between companies in the creative and digital industries in Sheffield and the surrounding area. Use of the website and information provided in the directory is entirely at the users' risk.
The material contained on the site is for general information only. No responsibility is taken for omissions or errors, or the results obtained from the use of this information. Creativesheffield is not responsible for the content of external internet sites, but provides links to third-party websites where deemed relevant.
Always obtain independent, professional advice for your own particular situation.
The website is populated by users and Creativesheffield cannot be held responsible for any inappropriate content (see ‘Content of entry’ section below for details). If you come across any inappropriate content please notify Creativesheffield so we can ensure it is removed.

Registering for the directory
You must accept the terms and conditions below to be included in the directory.
Conditions for inclusion
To be included in the directory companies must be:
- in the Sheffield (S) or Doncaster (DN) postcode areas AND
- in the creative and digital sectors OR offering professional services to that sector
Content of directory entry
Registering companies are responsible for ensuring that the information they provide for inclusion meets the standards listed below. Companies that provide information that fails to meet these standards will be removed from the directory without warning.
Directory entries must:
- Be accurate (where it states facts).
- Be genuinely held (where it states opinions).
- Comply with the law applicable in England and Wales and in any country from which it is posted.
- Be relevant.
Directory entries must not:
- Be defamatory of any person.
- Be obscene, offensive, hateful or inflammatory.
- Promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age.
- Disclose the name, address, telephone, mobile or fax number, e-mail address or any other personal data in respect of any individual.
- Infringe any copyright, database right or trademark of any other person.
- Breach any legal duty owed to a third party, such as a contractual duty or a duty of confidence.
- Be in contempt of court.
- Be likely to harass, upset, embarrass, alarm or annoy any other person.
- Impersonate any person, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person.
- Give the impression that the Contribution emanates from Creativesheffield if this is not the case.
- Advocate, promote, incite any third party to commit, or assist any unlawful or criminal act.
- Contain a statement which you know or believe, or have reasonable grounds for believing, that members of the public to whom the statement is, or is to be, published are likely to understand as a direct or indirect encouragement or other inducement to the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism.
Sharing of information
Creativesheffield will only use the data provided during registration to communicate with registered companies about the CDI directory. This includes any other companies and individuals Creativesheffield employs to work on our behalf. Examples include sending email, analysing data and market research about the effectiveness of the directory. Such agents would have access to the personal information needed to perform their functions but may not use it for other purposes.
Users are encouraged to allow Creativesheffield to inform them of their activities and share their contact details with selected partners as we deem appropriate, but neither is mandatory for inclusion.
Creativesheffield will not sell, trade or rent your personal or business information to third parties.
