Going Global - Meet the Buyer Event 2010

Yorkshire Forward in association with UK Trade & Investment brings you the Going Global - Meet the Buyer Event. For one day only, in one location, you will be able to meet over 100 international buyers who are actively looking to do business with Yorkshire and Humber companies.
Going Global - Meet the Buyer will attract delegates from a wide range of industry sectors and will facilitate meetings with the region’s businesses and international buyers from key markets. You’ll hear first hand about their procurement policies, buying cycles and discover any opportunities that might be available for your business.
You will also be able to access to a wide range of experts including regional and international support organisations and representatives from some of the key trading markets.
Meet the Buyer
This international business-to-business matchmaking event will set up meetings with businesses from the Yorkshire and Humber region with key contacts in federal, state, local government agencies, large corporations and international companies that have real contracts on the table. The key sectors that will be covered include:
Advanced Engineering and Materials
Construction
Chemical
Digital and Media (ITC)
Environmental Technologies
Food and Drink
Healthcare and Bioscience
There is a nominal £50+vat fee (allowing up to two delegates) for companies that are approved to participate in the Meet the Buyer meetings.
Matching Buyers and Suppliers
Once delegates have completed the online registration form the information will be sent to BtoB International, who will be matchmaking companies with overseas buyers on behalf of Yorkshire Forward and UK Trade & Investment. If the profile is approved and the company is eligible to participate, BtoB International will invoice a nominal fee of £50+vat (allowing up to two delegates per company). Once the payment has been made, meetings will be set up with the overseas buyers as appropriate. Please note that, in order to allow enough time to ensure suitable matches, regional companies will be able to register up to the 17th February 2010.
