Business Opportunities in Chengdu

Chengdu is the capital of Sichuan Province, and is the most important commercial centre in Western China. This metropolis of 11 million lying 1,500 miles from China’s eastern seaboard has a market reach of 200 million consumers and is a distribution centre for southwest China. Chengdu is also the busiest aviation hub in inland China.

Sichuan Province boasts one of the most diversified industrial bases in the country, with Chengdu as an important manufacturing centre for the electronics, machinery, pharmaceutical, chemicals, metallurgy and food processing industries. Sichuan is also the national headquarters for feed grain companies.
