Broomhill and Ranmoor are a five minute bus journey away from Sheffield University and many of the main teaching hospitals making them the preferred areas for those working there. With a selection of purpose built apartments, mainly from the 60s and 70s or sympathetic conversions of large Victorian properties as well as a wide mix of other housing from larger villa style terraces, stone built semis, Victorian and other large family houses built in the 20s and 30s. Broomhill shops with its mix of small supermarkets, international restaurants, coffee shops and independent retailers means it has a cosmopolitan feel and atmosphere.
