Walk In Centre

The Sheffield NHS Walk In Centre is situated within Royal Hallamshire Hospital, and is open from 8am to 8pm daily. Staffed by nurses it can offer health advice, information and treatment for a number of minor illnesses including:

• Coughs, colds and flu-like symptoms
• Information on staying healthy/local services
• Skin complaints - rashes, sunburn, headlice, nappy rash
• Muscle and joint injuries - strains and sprains
• Stomach ache, indigestion, constipation, vomiting and diarrhoea
• Women’s health problems
• Hayfever, bites and stings
• Ear syringing
• Treatment of minor infections (anti-biotics dispensing)
• Phlebotomy service
• General health care assessments
• Emergency contraception
