Andy Topley was instrumental in establishing Sheffield One as one of the three pilot urban regeneration companies and was Director of Regeneration for six years and appointed Acting Chief Executive of Sheffield One in June 2006. He has led the work on the City Centre Masterplan with responsibility for ensuring that the overall vision and momentum of the plan is maintained during delivery.
He was project champion for the New Retail Quarter, a ground breaking £400M project being carried out in partnership with Hammerson plc and was also instrumental in conceiving the £130M Heart of the City project, including the Peace Gardens, Millennium Galleries and Winter Gardens which he also led for Sheffield One.
As an architect and planner, Andy has over twenty years experience in urban regeneration.
